Mat Armstrong has bought plenty of Supercars through Copart in his time, both in the UK and in the USA. Check out these Porsches he's transformed into something special!

“I've just bought the cheapest 911 GT3 in the world,” Mat says in his video on YouTube video about this exact motor. It says a lot about the state of this Porsche!

Completely undaunted by the damage he saw when picking this example up from Copart's Newbury auction, Mat set himself one challenge: to rebuild it from the ground up in just 24 hours. As if fixing the last one wasn’t hard enough!

Thankfully, his previous experience with the 992 in the US put him in good stead. Just look at what an incredible job he’s done. Wrapped in a stealthy carbon fibre black, this absolute beast of a car looks incredible!

Sadly, Mat and his team didn’t quite manage to complete the rebuild in such a short time frame, but they came very close!

When they completed the rebuild, however, they gave it a rather fetching “Ruby Stone Red” respray. We really like it!

Take a look at the journey Mat went on to get this Porsche roaring!

At the beginning of 2023, Mat bought this car from Copart US and had to go all the way to Tennessee to pick it up. As a nearly brand-new car with a waiting list a million miles long, parts weren’t easy to get hold of. But after blood, sweat, and tears were shed, he finally managed to get it back up and running. It looks brand, spanking new again!

Mat also added some mods during the rebuild, including a brand-new JCR exhaust, so this thing sounds like a monster.

He sadly couldn’t get it home to the UK, so gave it away while still in the US to fellow YouTuber, Tavarish, who helped him with the rebuild.

Porsche 718 Cayman S

Over a year ago, Mat attempted his biggest rebuild to date – a 2.5 litre 718 Cayman S. The damage to this Porsche was classed as a Category N (Non-Structural), but cosmetically it was – pardon the pun – a wreck.

Almost every single panel needed either replacing or, in the case of the wing mirror and a side skirt, wasn’t there in the first place.

In fact, the damage was so bad, that even Mat initially thought that fixing it might cost more than it would be worth to sell. But just look at it now! We are so glad he took the risk. An absolutely stunning car!
