Bidding and Buying Fees
High Volume
Fee A applies to any Member who has purchased 12 or more vehicles in the previous or current calendar year.
Example: A Member purchases 12 vehicles in the current year (January 2025) They will be considered High Volume from February 2025 this year and will remain High Volume for the following year.
Low Volume
Fee B applies to any Member who has purchased less than 12 Vehicles in the previous or current calendar year.
Member fees are based on final vehicle sale price, payment method and purchase volume. High volume Members are those who purchase twelve or more vehicles from Copart UK or Ireland per calendar year.
What methods of payment are accepted?

* Please note: If you have overdue invoices of more than 5 business days on your account, any payment made via bank transfer will automatically be allocated to overdue invoices.
**We do not accept American Express, pre-paid debit cards or cheques.
Please note, we are unable to take payments for Lots over the phone. Part payments will also not be accepted.
Please be aware, overseas bank transfers may take up to 5 working days (excluding weekends and UK Bank holidays) to be received and applied to your account.
Payments by cash are not accepted at our Operation Centres. Please use an alternative payment method listed above to make a payment.

Additional Fees
Lot Retrieval Fee
A £50.00 Lot Retrieval Fee is applied to all vehicles. This fee covers the movement of the vehicle from the sale/storage area to the loading area of Copart UK’s Operation Centre.
Other Fees (if applicable)
Late Payment Fee
If the sale price and all applicable fees are not paid by the close of business 3 working days after the auction (including day of sale), a late payment fee of £50.00 applies.
Storage Fee
Where a vehicle is not collected, storage fees will be charged for weekends and UK Bank Holidays unless the weekend or holiday occurs within the first 3 days of the auction.

Relist Fee
If the sale price and all applicable fees are unpaid at the close of business 6 calendar days after the auction, the vehicle will automatically be re-listed for sale and the member’s account will be charged the higher of a relist fee of 10% of the sale price or £300.
Internet Bid Fee
Kiosk Preliminary Bidding and Live Bidding
Kiosk Preliminary Bidding is available at no charge at most locations. Members are responsible for requesting instructions from Copart regarding where or how to submit a valid Kiosk Preliminary Bid.
Non-Kiosk Preliminary Bidding and Live Bidding
Copart locations may provide internet access through computer terminals available in reception. These terminals are separate from preliminary bidding kiosks. All bids placed through either these terminals or Members’ computers, smartphones, tablets or other bidding devices will incur the following charges, based on the high bid amount:

Value Added Tax
All fees and prices in this document are quoted exclusive of Value Added Tax (VAT). Where applicable, VAT will be charged at the prevailing rate.
Fees to Join Copart
There is a one-time non-refundable registration fee of just £100.00 and an annual membership renewal fee. Please contact Member Services on 01234 765 459 for the current renewal fee.
Virtual Vehicle Viewing Appointments
With our Virtual Vehicle Viewing service, you can now look at vehicles of interest from the comfort of your own home, office or on your travels. Book a 10-minute timeslot to view an individual Lot of your choice at any of our UK Operation Centres. It costs just £10 per vehicle, with the viewing taking place over WhatsApp video call.
To book your slot, call our Member Services Team on 01234 765459. Your appointment must be booked at least 48 hours in advance, and cannot take place on the day of the auction. Republic of Ireland Fees and Payments
Please be informed that Lots won from our Castledermot location will be billed in Euros. It is important to understand the currency conversion rate for each before you make any binding bids on vehicles.
