With August having now begun, and in the wake of the hottest few days Britain has ever seen, we thought you would appreciate a few choice motorbikes coming up for auction over the next week or so. A modern bike with classic styling, the 4 cylinder 650R does everything you would expect of a naked bike like this very well. It has all the mod cons you could need. With LED lighting, an LCD display and a slipper clutch, this beautiful looking bike puts out 94bhp at 12,000rpm, so it's quite rev-happy in such a typical Honda way.

One for the old school bikers, the premium brand of Harley Davidson is always associated with luxury and high quality. The FLSTSE "Screamin' Eagle" is no different. The SVO is a real tourer. With huge saddlebags at the back for your gear, it has everything you need for a weekend away with a passenger.

Affectionately known as the "Midnight Star", The XVS 950 looks and feels like a big cruiser, but with a smaller, smoother engine. It's not going to set your backside on fire as it only does around 100mph, but I think that's kind of the point. You don't want to be going very fast on this. It's beginner friendly for those looking to buy a cruiser for the first time, so this is a good entry point for you!

This is the best-selling bike in the UK. Kind of says it all, really. Scooters have become hugely popular post COVID, as many have opted for them over public transport, and they are so fuel efficient and cheap to run. They're not fast, but they can comfortably run at 65mph. Any more than that though, the engine starts to strain. This example in white looks really fabulous, though.
