At Copart UK, we are continually reviewing and updating the way we do things, to make sure that the auction experience we provide is the best that it can be for our buyers.
Although most of our buyers are looking to purchase cars, motorcycles and commercial vehicles, we recognise that we also have a specialist buyer base who are only looking for selected vehicle types such as Agricultural machinery.
Having taken this into consideration, we are delighted to announce that we will be running the first of our new monthly virtual facility auctions for ‘Heavy Equipment’ on 18th April, which will include HGV’s, Plant and Agricultural vehicles.
What is a virtual facility auction?
Selected ‘Heavy Equipment’ Lots which are located at various Copart Operations Centres across the UK will be grouped together into one auction.
As this auction will not be associated with one physical Copart Operations Centres, we refer to it as a ‘virtual’ facility.
How will this benefit me?
It’s great news if you are only interested in purchasing HGV’s, Plant and Agricultural vehicles, as you’ll be able to find the vehicle types you want, all in one auction.
- Locate, track and bid on your favourite items with ease
- No need to attend multiple daily auctions and wait for your desired vehicle types to appear
- A set auction day of Wednesday once a month, including only the Lots most relevant to you
Important – Please Note
As this is a virtual facility auction, you will need to make sure you are aware of the Operations Centres which is physically holding the vehicle.
Prior to the auction, you will be able to find the location of the vehicle on the Lot details page in its usual position (figure 1), and during the live auction, you will find the vehicle location at the top of each auction thumbnail (figure 2).
