Through the online auctions of Copart UK, you will find an extensive range of vehicles which can vary from used unrecorded, through to salvage cars and breaker vehicles which can only be dismantled for parts.
On a selection of vehicles, we provide a ‘Vehicle Highlights’ section to give you a better understanding of the vehicle condition. When placing a bid, make sure you have read the highlights description on Lots where applicable.
Here’s a helpful explanation of some of the terminology used for our vehicles.
Run and Drive
At the time the vehicle arrived at Copart’s location, Copart verified that the vehicle started, could be put into gear and was capable of moving forward under its own power. There is no guarantee, representation or warranty that the vehicle is in roadworthy condition or can be driven lawfully upon the highways in any state or country. There is no guarantee that the vehicle will start, drive, or move forward under its own power at the time the vehicle is picked up at Copart’s location or when it is delivered to a Copart Member. It is the Members sole responsibility to ascertain, confirm, research, inspect and/or investigate the vehicle prior to bidding o n it. Once the vehicle is removed from Copart premises the Members accepts the vehicle “as is”.
Featured Vehicles
Featured vehicles are highlighted by Copart as likely to generate high interest among our Members. Featured vehicles are accessible from the homepage and Vehicle Finder.
Engine Start Programme
At the time the vehicle arrived at Copart’s facility, Copart verified that the vehicle started, and ran at idle. There is no guarantee, representation or warranty that the vehicle will start or run at idle at the time the vehicle is picked up at a Copart facility.
Additional Information
The additional information area is a place where important information about the Lot is displayed or the Member’s consideration when bidding.
Enhances Vehicles
Vehicle listed as “Enhanced Vehicles” are those where: the Seller has authorised Copart to perform an enhancement service to the vehicle such as a wash and vacuum or protective covering or the vehicle is under a programme that gives Copart discretion to utilise enhancement services to maximise the value of the vehicle. This designation does not guarantee that any enhancement service was completed but rather indicates that qualifying vehicles would be enhanced. It is the Member’s responsibility to inspect and verify the utilisation on enhancement services.
Now that you have a better understanding of the above Copart terms, waste no time and start searching our wide range of stock to find your next vehicle.
