We’re committed to continuously improving what we do and how we do it, to create a better and faster collection process for our Members and their drivers.
Over the last year alone, we’re pleased to say that we’ve been able to do just that with the following changes to our business!
Investment in more loaders
In April, we invested in 42 new JCB loaders to enable us to move vehicles around the yard more efficiently. The new loaders gave us the technical capability we needed to improve our operational efficiency, by processing vehicles and getting them to auction faster, and reduce the collection waiting times for our Members and their drivers.
By the time we reach winter this year, we will have increased our total number of loaders by 20%!
Pre-booking System
In February, we launched our brand-new Transportation App. The App allows Members, and their drivers to book a collection date and timeslot in advance.
During the COVID-19 outbreak, this App has been crucial to allow vehicle collections to be carried out in a way that is safe for Members, their drivers, and our staff.
All vehicle collections must now be pre-booked via our Transportation App before arriving at an Operation Centre.
Member Feedback
We’ve received some fantastic feedback on our collection service and think it’s great to hear that over half of survey respondents agreed that they prefer pre-arranging their bookings.
Here’s what our Members say:
“The Transportation App is great. Keep it going in the future”
“It’s a good system and I hope it stays this way”
“Excellent service. I was very impressed”
