Do I need licences to buy a motorcycle with Copart?
To buy a used unrecorded or salvage repairable motorcycle in our auctions, you do not need any licences. These vehicles may require repair before being safely and legally returned to the road.
If you are going to purchase a Category B (Breaker) motorbike, you will be required to hold the appropriate licences and meet the requirements found on on our Buying CAT B’s page. These vehicles have been written off and are not permitted to return to the road, but are the perfect for sourcing parts for a motorcycle repair project.
