What is the Ferrari FF?
The FF model which stands for ‘Ferrari Four’ is a grand tourer which means that it was created with the comfort of its four passengers in mind, particularly for long distance driving.
Designed by Pininfarina under the direction of Ferrari, the FF model features classic Ferrari characteristics, including; a streamlined, aerodynamic body, a luxurious eye-catching appearance, and of course outstanding performance with the FF model being able to reach 0 – 62 mph in just 3.7 seconds from new.
Not only does the FF deliver on all of these fronts, but it has also been praised for it’s spacious, practical, and comfortable nature. Aspects that are not always a high priority in supercars.
What is a Category B vehicle?
Due to the extent of damage sustained to a Category B vehicle, it cannot return to the road and its chassis must be crushed at an Authorised Treatment Facility (AFT). However, a CAT B car isn’t a complete write-off as it provides a convenient, single source of high-quality and potentially high-value parts.
What are the benefits of purchasing a CAT B vehicle over buying the parts separately?
Not only can you pull multiple car parts from the vehicle in one breaking session, potentially saving you time and money over buying the parts new. But, you will also get the self-assurance of dismantling the vehicle yourself of the bolted parts you require (no chassis).
What do I need to purchase a CAT B vehicle?
In order to purchase a Category B vehicle, you must hold the correct waste management licences and meet the requirements stated on our Buying CAT B’s page (please note – there are different requirements if you are based overseas).
Once you have met these requirements and supplied us with evidence, you will be able to start placing your bids on CAT B vehicles providing that you have agreed to our Trade Terms and Conditions.
I don’t meet the criteria. Can I still buy a CAT B vehicle?
Yes, you can still bid on Category B’s using our dedicated BB4U service. Created with buyers like you in mind, the service allows you to submit your bids to Copart, we will then bid on your behalf, giving you the chance to win your chosen Lot and break it for parts at one of our designated breaker facilities.
What happens if I win the Lot with BreakerBid4U?
The Ferrari FF is currently based at our Westbury Operations Centre and will be transported to your chosen breaker facility at an additional cost to be dismantled for parts. Our 3 breaker facilities are located in Sandwich, Inverkeithing and York.
(The vehicle will be depolluted and the engine/gearbox removed for you before the session).
